AAUW of Redmond

We have a relaxed, friendly, small town feel. Smith Rock to the North and Mt. Bachelor to the South provide premier sports opportunities. We currently have 30 members and welcome new members to help us in our mission to promote equity for women and girls, lifelong education and positive societal growth.  This we do through our programs and other activities. Meetings The Redmond Branch meets on the second Saturday of each month, September through May, except December.  We meet at Izzy's for a program at 9:30 am and enjoy a  brunch at 10:30 am. Our meetings feature speakers on politics, social service, literature, travel, and issues specific to women, among others. Projects   Our projects further our mission.   Education  Annual Redmond High School Graduating Senior Girls Scholarships Individual members sponsor a Latina student's education at the local community college by making contributions to her tuition costs Annual Re-Entry Woman’s Scholarship  Public Policy • Candidates forums in election years • Contribution to Women’s Rights Coalition • Contribution to Family Access Network    Fundraising Garage sales Book sales Escrip Ray's receipt rebates   Member Special Interest Groups Evening socials, quarterly Book Club, monthly Join Us?
