Wallowa County branch was “re-energized” in 2000 and currently has about 20 members.
Information about our branch:
MEETINGS:
Monthly branch meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Monday at the Fishtrap House, 400 E. Grant St., Enterprise, unless otherwise specified. Our meetings feature interesting programs on a wide range of subjects.
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
We enjoy activities such as potlucks and geology field trips.
PROJECTS:
Education
• Award an annual scholarship to a woman returning to school
• Co-sponsor the Fishtrap lecture series
Public Policy
• Sponsor candidate forums during election years
Fundraising
• Three fundraisers to date, which have brought musical groups to Wallowa County
CONTRIBUTIONS:
We support the:
• AAUW Educational Foundation
• AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund
