
Our mission is for the Pendleton AAUW to work to carry out the missions of AAUW of Oregon and the national Association. Our goals are to celebrate our work by focusing on visibility in our community and to work in coalition with other organizations in our community who have similar missions.
MEETINGS: Our branch programs have been developed around the theme :"Education as the Gateway." We meet the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Vert Building, 345 SW Fourth Street. Once a quarter we have a special Saturday luncheon program at 11:00 A.M. in a local restaurant, Roosters at 1515 Southgate, Pendleton, OR. Meetings are held monthly from September through June. Our programs are open to the public. Prospective members are also welcomed at the business meetings.

CONTRIBUTIONS: Our branch supports the Educational Foundation (EF), the Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF), Mother-Daughter Choice Books, Picture People Project, Adopt-a-magazine (Scientific American), Project Startup Fund, Blue Mountain Community College Scholarship, and the Bedford Fund.
